The Corporate Governance Committee was established on 22 January 2004. The Committee was created on the initiative of the Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (FSMA), the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB) and Euronext Brussels. In May 2007, the Committee became a private foundation.
